The furnishing status may, or may not be adjustable for an additional fee, upon a request, depending on the availability. About this Home Don't miss this stylistic and newly refurbished, 1420-square-foot shared apartment for rent in Washington, D.C.'s Anacostia neighborhood. A lovely, two-story, shared apartment with contemporary flair, this 3-bedroom, 1.5-bathroom unit is perfect for someone looking for a comfortable living space in a historic and diverse area. Fully loaded, this reasonably-priced apartment features tons of living space in common areas and bedrooms, along with a washer and dryer. You can choose to have your bedroom furnished or unfurnished. All three bedrooms are roomy enough for full-size or queen-size beds, a good-sized wardrobe, a nightstand, and a personal workspace. Every bedroom includes multiple vertical windows for natural light as well. The apartment has spotless cherry hardwood floors, elegant and ample lighting, and a new coat of paint on the walls. It comes with a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and WiFi as well. The sunlit living room is plenty big and can easily accommodate a couch, coffee table, and additional furniture, such as a bookshelf and chairs. The adjacent dining room features an elegant chandelier and can hold a medium-size, four-person dining table. The newly remodeled kitchen features gorgeous white oak wood flooring, shiny granite countertops, coordinating white cabinets, and full-size stainless steel appliances, including microwave. The half-bathroom on the first floor has a large mirror and the same walls as the rest of the apartment. The bathroom on the second floor has smooth white tiling on the floor and shower wall, complimenting the grey bathroom cabinet. This apartment is in a prime location in the historic Anacostia neighborhood. Anacostia was one of D.C.’s first suburbs and has been home to some of the most prominent figures in American history. The area is filled with picturesque green spaces and good public schools, making it a popular place to live among outdoor enthusiasts and families with kids. A majority of the residents here are professionals from the private and public sectors that commute Downtown for work. Most commercial activity in Anacostia can be found at the intersection of Good Hope Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. There you can find a variety of bars, restaurants, and retail shops. Public transportation is readily available for those that don't drive. A 10-minute walk from the front door of this lovely home will get you to Anacostia station for the Green Line subway across the river and into Downtown. Not sure how long you plan to stay in Anacostia? Book a tour today and ask one of our listing agents about short-term leasing options. Your safety and comfort are our top priorities! To ensure it, we ask all our new members to complete a background and credit check and electronically sign a residency agreement. You'll need to share your ID and Social Security Number (for those in the US) with us. We'll shoot over the agreement after you book, and we kindly ask you to sign it quickly to guarantee your room. For your credit, we're looking for scores above 550-650, depending on your city and we'll need a clean criminal record too (this doesn't apply to DC). How rent is calculated
Daily basis
This listing’s rent is calculated on a daily basis. For the first and last months of your stay, you’ll only pay for the exact number of days in your rental period — just like a hotel. We call this a Daily contract type. To confirm your rental, you’ll need to pay one month’s rent in full. Any excess rent you pay for the first month will be subtracted from the next month’s rent.
Cancellation policy

Strict cancellation

If you cancel:

  • Within 24 hours of confirmation – Full refund of first month’s rent
  • After 24 hours of confirmation – No refund
